About Items

Use Items to store a priced list of products or services. With Items on, you start transactions by selecting item(s) that comprise the purchase. GoPayment uses item prices to tally the charge amount and show customers what they bought.

In the GoPayment App

Note: You can only set up items in the GoPayment App.

Turn Items on:

  1. Launch GoPayment from your device.
  2. Sign in to GoPayment.
  3. Select the Settings icon.
  4. Turn items ON.

To add items:

  1. Select Get Paid.
  2. Go to the top, right of the screen and tap +. Then complete the Item form.
  3. Enter Item Name, Description, and Price.
  4. Select Sales Tax (if applicable).
  5. Select Save.

You can also go to Settings to add or edit Items.

To edit an item:

  1. Go to Settings and select Edit Items.
  2. Tap the item you want to edit to open the Edit Item screen.
  3. Make your changes and click Save.

To use items:

  1. Select Get Paid. The item list displays.
  2. Add an item to the order by tapping the + button next to Qty.
  3. Select Create Order.

To delete an item:

  1. Go to Settings and select Edit Items.
  2. Tap the item you want to Delete to open the Edit Item screen.
  3. Click Delete.
