- At the bottom of any GoPayment App screen, select Settings, and then select Sales Tax.
- In the % field, enter the desired sales tax percentage. The sales tax percentage you enter applies only to items.
- When sales tax should be applied to an item, open the item and tap its Sales Tax ON button. For charges that don't feature items, you must calculate the tax yourself and include it in the total amount charged.
Note: PST/GST/QST and HST is entered as one percentage in GoPayment. You cannot track sales tax codes separately.
