Process a Swiped Credit Card Transaction (using items)

Note: If you want to process a credit card transaction without using the items feature, follow these steps.

  1. Make sure the card reader is plugged in.
  2. Launch the GoPayment App from your mobile device.
  3. Sign in to GoPayment.
  4. Select Get Paid (if GoPayment hasn't opened it automatically).
  5. Select the quantity of each item using + or - icons.
    Note: You must first create items.
  6. Select Create Order.
  7. Review the order and select Next.
  8. Swipe credit card.
  9. Enter Memo text (optional).
  10. Select Next to process transaction.
  11. Hand your device to your customer and have them sign their name (optional).
  12. Select Charge.
  13. If charge is successful, you will have the ability to send a receipt to the merchant's email or to their phone as a text message.
  14. Type in merchant's email or phone number (optional).
  15. Select Send to send the receipt or Done to bypass this option.
