Note: If you want to process a credit card transaction without using the items feature, follow these steps.
- Make sure the card reader is plugged in.
- Launch the GoPayment App from your mobile device.
- Sign in to GoPayment.
- Select Get Paid (if GoPayment hasn't opened it automatically).
- Select the quantity of each item using + or - icons.
Note: You must first create items. - Select Create Order.
- Review the order and select Next.
- Swipe credit card.
- Enter Memo text (optional).
- Select Next to process transaction.
- Hand your device to your customer and have them sign their name (optional).
- Select Charge.
- If charge is successful, you will have the ability to send a receipt to the merchant's email or to their phone as a text message.
- Type in merchant's email or phone number (optional).
- Select Send to send the receipt or Done to bypass this option.
