Process a Swiped Credit Card Transaction

Note: If you want to process a credit card transaction using the Items feature, follow these steps.

  1. Launch the GoPayment App from your mobile device.
  2. Sign in to GoPayment.
  3. Make sure the card reader is plugged in.
  4. Select Get Paid (if it doesn't open automatically).
  5. Swipe credit card.
  6. Type in amount of charge.
  7. Enter Memo text (optional).
  8. Select Next.
  9. Hand your device to your customer and have them sign their name (optional).
  10. Select Charge.
  11. If charge is successful, you will have the ability to send a receipt to the merchant's email or to their phone as a text message.
  12. Type in merchant's email or phone number (optional).
  13. Select Send to send the receipt or Done to bypass this option.
