You can void a credit card payment once it's been approved, but you must do so within 25 minutes of when the payment was originally processed.
To void a transaction on a mobile device:
- Select History.
- Select the transaction.
- Select Void Charge.
- Press Yes to confirm.
To void a transaction in GoPayment online:
- Sign in to GoPayment online.
- Click View transaction history.
- Select a transaction.
- Click Void.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Why can't I void?
After a transaction has been processed, you have 25 minutes to successfully void. If the transaction has been submitted for processing, it can't be voided. All transactions are automatically submitted 25 minutes after processing. If you don't void the transaction within 25 minutes, you have a refund processed.
To process a refund:
Refunds can only be processed in GoPayment online.
- Sign in to GoPayment online.
- Click View transaction history.
- Select a transaction.
- Click Refund.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Note: GoPayment cannot process a refund for a GoPayment transaction for an amount different than the original.
